Citrulline is an organic compound classified as a non-protein amino acid and a derivative of ornithine. Together with arginine and ornithine, citrulline participates in the urea cycle (also known as the Krebs cycle). Citrulline is considered an endogenous amino acid that can be produced naturally in the human body. The name derives from the Latin "citrullus", meaning watermelon - the first food from which the compound was isolated, and the main dietary source today. Also found in melon, pumpkin and cucumber.
OstroVit uses citrulline malate, a citrulline form with excellent bioavailability and ergogenic profile, supporting the efficacy of the supplement.
Suggested use: Consume 1/2 bottle (50 ml - approx. 10 teaspoons) per day. Do not exceed 1 serving per day. For adults only. Sediment formation is a natural phenomenon. Shake well before use. After opening refrigerate and consume within 48 hours. Do not consume if allergic to any of the ingredients. Not recommended for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women.
