It increases iron absorption and contributes to normal collagen formation. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus, the maintenance of blood calcium levels, healthy bones, muscle function and normal teeth. The citrus bioflavonoid complex in the product is extracted from bitter orange. Zinc contributes to normal mental function and the maintenance of normal skin and hair. Organic zinc from zinc gluconate has better bioavailability than inorganic zinc (zinc oxide) compounds.
