JutaVit K2 vitamin contains vitamin K2 in natural menaquinone-7 (MK-7) form, which is well utilised by the body. Vitamin K2 plays a key role in maintaining normal bones by facilitating calcium incorporation into bones, and also contributes to normal blood clotting processes.

Vitamin K2 is produced by beneficial bacteria in the colon. However, in older age, after antibiotic treatment or with a one-sided diet, natural K2 production may decrease. In such cases, supplementation may be particularly important for maintaining bone, dental and cardiovascular health.
