OstroVit Chromium 200 µg is a food supplement and a source of the trace element chromium, in an easy-to-swallow tablet format.
Chromium (Cr) is a trace element required by the body in small quantities for normal function. It contributes to the normal metabolism of macronutrients and the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels.
Chromium is naturally found in foods such as whole grains, yeast, egg and vegetables such as broccoli, peas and tomato. It is stored mainly in the kidneys, spleen, testes, soft tissues, bones and blood, bound primarily to proteins (e.g. transferrin).
Inorganic chromium compounds are absorbed at only approximately 1%, while organic forms such as chromium picolinate have higher bioavailability - OstroVit uses this form.
Suggested use
Take 1 serving (1 tablet) daily, after a meal.
Do not exceed the recommended daily serving. The food supplement does not replace a varied diet. A balanced diet and healthy lifestyle are recommended. Do not consume if allergic to any ingredient. Not for use by children, pregnant or breastfeeding women. Keep out of reach of children.
