Vitamins A, D, E and K are essential nutrients that are fat-soluble and absorbed best with dietary fats. They are essential for healthy skin, bones, immune function and vision.
Vitamin A - belongs to the carotenoid family, contributes to the maintenance of normal vision, healthy skin and mucous membranes, and supports normal immune function.
Vitamin D - plays a role in calcium and phosphorus absorption, contributing to bone, teeth and muscle health. Also supports cell division and immune function.
Vitamin E - has antioxidant activity and helps protect cells from oxidative stress.
Vitamin K - contributes to normal blood clotting and maintenance of healthy bones. The Vitamin K2 form used in OstroVit ADEK is also produced by gut microbiota.
Important warning: not for use by individuals taking anticoagulants containing Vitamin K antagonists (e.g. warfarin or acenocoumarol).
Suggested use: Adults - 1 serving (1 tablet) per day, preferably after a meal.
A 25-(OH)D blood test and consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is recommended before use. Suitable for healthy adults up to 75 years of age.
